FAQ

Why should I choose J.K Cooper Tree Services?

Here at J.K. Cooper, we’ve got decades of experience in providing residents of the NSW region with quality service in all areas of tree development and removal. We’re a company that you can truly trust to provide you with quality service.

Do you give free tree removal quotes?

Yes. Free quotes are given for jobs large and small. Expert staff are on hand to discuss customizing the service to best suit your needs.

If you need to assess the work needed, do I need to be available to speak to you?

It is best to meet with a specialist to discuss your individual needs and to make sure that you are happy with the work to be carried out prior to our team starting on the work. This is for your reassurance and to make sure that you are fully consulted.

Can I keep the mulch or chips if I want too?

Yes. It is entirely up to you what is done with the remnants of any tree on your property.

Do you have all your own machinery?

Yes, we provide machinery of the highest quality, along with experts who can operate such machinery effectively.

Do I need to be available when the work is carried out?

No. It is quite often less disruptive for the customer if we can carry out the work when they are out. It is your choice however and we are happy to work with your schedule.

Are you fully qualified for all tree removal services?

Most definitely! We’ve been providing quality tree services to the NSW region for the past 30 years. This means that we most definitely know what we are doing. Further, all of our tree specialists are trained in safety and effective tree removal/maintenance.

My tree does not look very healthy. What should I do?

We can provide you with free specialist advice and suggestions. Call to discuss this with a member of the Arborist Team and we will arrange a visit to suit you.

My tree has grown so large that I am concerned it is not safe or may cause damage to my house. What should I do?

We are happy to take a look at your tree for you. The solution might be as simple as pruning the tree.

Do I need a permit to cut my tree?

Usually yes, unless the tree is dead or falls under the category of a weed. Even then not all councils will allow a tree to be felled if it supplies a home to wildlife. You can contact the council and enquire about permits or use the website to find which trees are exempt from the need for a permit.

How safe are your services?

We comply with all OHS and Australian standards. We have quality policies and systems in place.  That said, it is not just about compliance to us. We frequently go the extra mile to make sure that the customer feels fully reassured. The safety of our customers and of our staff is central to what we are about.
